0

[Update: Contest over! Winner of the FFXI concert tickets is MistaAytch!]

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Final Fantasy XI, and to celebrate, Square Enix is hosting a tribute concert this weekend in Berkeley, CA! This special event will feature more than 70 musicians from the area's leading orchestras, all led by Grammy award-winning conductor Arnie Roth! In addition, concert attendees will receive the exclusive Final Fantasy XI in-game item “Maestro’s Baton” -- not available anywhere else!

You can find even more details at the concert's home page, but here are the basics:

  • WHAT: Final Fantasy XI 10th Anniversary Concert
  • WHEN: Saturday, September 22, 2012
  • WHERE: Zellerbach Auditorium in Berkeley, CA

To help celebrate this momentous event, the fine folks at Square Enix have also been kind enough to toss us a pair of tickets to hand out to one lucky California-area Dtoider! To win, just leave a comment below telling us why you deserve to go!

Limit one entry per person, and please only enter if you are able to actually make it to the concert this Saturday. The contest closes this Friday, September 20, at noon Pacific, and the winner will pick up his or her tickets at the event. Good luck!
