Chime hits Xbox LIVE Arcade on February 3

OneBigGame has announced that its musical puzzler Chime will hit Xbox LIVE Arcade on February 3.

Chime‘s gameplay has a Lumines-like feel, with players placing blocks on a grid to create quads. When a quad is created, different musical samples are triggered depending on the shape; the size of the quad dictates the score. Chime features five tracks created by artists like Moby and Orbital’s Paul Hartnoll.

The game was developed by Zoe Mode for OneBigGame… for free. All of Zoe Modes’ royalties for Chime will go to Save the Children and Starlight Children’s foundation. Ironically, what wasn’t announced was the title’s price; we’re checking in with OneBigGame and we’ll update when we have more details. The game will cost 400 MS Points.
