Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires is out next month, which is great to hear because we haven’t had a new DW title in weeks. As you may already know, Empires is Koei’s strategic spin-off, which tries to add a little more brainwork to the usual button-mashing fiasco. Don’t worry though, there’s still plenty of hack n’ slash chicanery.
The trailer, which also serves as the game’s intro, is the typical Dynasty Warriors fare in which flamboyant men with long hair wave their spears about to the tune of some squealing hair metal music. That’s exactly how I like my Dynasty Warriors, thanks. The game’s out on June 23 and you can bet your bloody arse there shall be a review.
