Check out Guild Wars 2’s Asura race

If you like magic, technology, and golems, the Asura race of Guild Wars 2 might be for you. Their page was updated today with everything you might want to know about the little guys, including a new video and screenshots. After almost being completely wiped out by The Great Destroyer, the Asura were forced to the surface to start anew. Luckily, they brought with them their extreme intelligence and mighty golems, managing to create a whole new civilization.

The Asura’s city, Rata Sum, is littered with examples of their technology and you can explore it yourself with the new video added to the site. The shiny technology contrasts greatly with the ancient and ruinous vibe you get from the architecture and makes me wish I could go explore Rata Sum this instant.

Personally, I’m a huge fan of any type of pet class, and the Asura’s golem looks too cool for me to pass up.
