Castlevania: Lords of Shadow PS3 save bug patched

Those of you who have had your game saves mercilessly executed by the PS3 version of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow can rage no longer, for a patch has finally been made available. The game will no longer wipe your save files, which was bad news for anybody who slogged through this 20+ hour game. 

As well as the fix, Konami has also tossed in a few “cosmetic upgrades”, such as scrolling text on loading screens, which should make up for the wait. A patch is also headed to the Xbox 360 version as well, presumably with just the upgrades. 

So … that’s … nice …
