Capcom to open a bar in Tokyo next month

You could go to a regular bar to drink, or you could go to a bar owned by one of the world’s best game makers. Lemme think. Okay, I’ve decided which one I’d pick.

Capcom and Japanese karaoke bar chain Pasela have partnered up to open the fabulously named Capcom bar next month in Shinjuku. This is to be an entertainment bar, set with game demo kiosks and Capcom goods. Andriasang reports that the food and drink will be themed around Capcom games.

Capcom Bar won’t just be drunken nerds, as Capcom will also use the location to host talk events with game makers. They’ll also use it as a filming location for its “Hagitoko!” live web broadcast.

This bar will open on January 25 in Shinjuku’s Pasela Resort. I’m so there.
