Capcom Digital Day 08: Bionic Commando: Rearmed will retail for $10

Capcom had Bionic Commando: Rearmed up for demo at the Digital Day event but were only showing off the challenge stage. They were timing the bloggers and journalists to try and beat a challenge stage. The ten best times would then be added to the Bionic Commando Web site.

I failed, miserably. Since Capcom is all about the community, they invited non-press people out to play and Destructoid made sure some local Bay Area Dtoid people came out. Azereki and topgeargorilla both did the challenge and passed it almost instantly.

Nothing else of the game was shown off here but we do have some new screens and video of the game. We also have the price point for the game now. Bionic Commando: Rearmed is going to sell for $10/800 Microsoft Points on XBLA, PSN and PC. Capcom actually had a poll asking their community how much they would want to pay for the game. The choice was between $10 and $15 and surprisingly, the poll was rather close.

I do look forward to the game, but the fact that Chad was actually disappointed with it really has me worried. Of course, they still have until springtime to work on it. Remember, Capcom: Chad gets people fired for bad work! Couple of more gameplay videos after the jump.

Top-down level of Bionic Commando: Rearmed.

Moutain Base gameplay.
