E3 is just around the corner, and I prepare my body for long days of work and longer nights of possible alcohol poisoning, I find that all the details on the event are hitting hard and fast. It’s like Christmas, except I get to be drunk with a larger group of people and we talk about videogames all day. Cheers!

Capcom has just confirmed their E3 2008 lineup via the Capcom Unity Blog, and there are some exciting offerings, including Street Fighter IV, Resident Evil 5 and the hotly anticipated Mega Man 9.You can also expect a gander at Dark Void, Bionic Commando, Moto GP 08′, Neopets Puzzle Adventure, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Plunder and Bionic Commando Rearmed.

As if that onslaught wasn’t enough, Unity Blog also mentions Flock, a new super secret project that will be debuting at this year’s show. What did I think of when I read this news? Not an exciting new Capcom title, but Polar Bear Flocke instead (and how much I’d like a videogame featuring him). I know, I’m a dweeb.

In all honesty, I want to play it all, but my retro leanings make me most excited for Mega Man 9. We’ll have full coverage on that and all the other titles next week during E3, so stay tuned. Bring food and a bucket for bathroom purposes, as you may find yourself glued to the computer for a while.
