Bungie shuts down Destiny beta for a couple days

0

Make sure to return to the action Saturday for some special loot

You might want to cancel any plans you may have made to battle the Fallen over the next couple days, as the Destiny beta will be taking a respite until Wednesday.

"We are beginning the process of taking the Destiny beta offline for maintenance," Bungie broadcast via Twitter today. "It shall return on 7/23 for all registered testers."

In Bungie's most recent weekly update regarding the title's progress, the developer teased something special for this Saturday, July 26 at 2pm PDT. "You want to be there for that day," the post reads. "Your rewards will be handsome and permanent."

Good lord, that is cryptic and provocative. I'll be there with bells on.
