Because it’s so damn easy, I’ll do it: The Games for Windows version of “Broken Steel” is no longer broken. That’s right, PC heads — it is now safe to download and experience the thrill of playing Bethesda’s fourth third (and possibly final) expansion pack for Fallout 3. If you happened to get wrapped up into Bethesda’s latest DLC-related woes, your purchase should be playable as well.
If you’re out of the loop, here’s the deal: as soon as the expansion hit servers, faithful fans who purchased the DLC were smacked with an error message that prohibited play. According to Joystiq, this was the result of some sort digital rights management hiccup.
So, what’s the first thing you’re going to do? Finish the side quests or hit the ground running with the extra content?
