Both Final Fantasy XIV soundtracks look strange

Recommended Videos

I wanted to point fellow game music fans to the unboxing of both of Square Enix’s new soundtrack releases. Final Fantasy XIV has two soundtrack releases: Battle Tracks and Field Tracks. They’re divided just as you’d imagine from their names. These aren’t your typical releases, though: they come in oddly shaped packets that remind me of the pockets that McDonald’s puts your Apple Pie into. Delicious. These pockets are stored in transparent plastic. They’ll stand out on your shelf, to say the least.

Check out the full article by our friends over at Original Sound Version. Jayson gives them the full unboxing in a video, which shows them off way before the September 29th Japanese release date. Strange as they are, I think both boxes quite nice looking.
