PSA for my European brethren who bemoaned the lack of a Golden Week sale, Big in Japan is back!

Platinum No. 91: The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince. Utterly gorgeous artwork that approaches Vanillaware levels of eye candy as well as a beautifully bittersweet fairytale story, but its 4 hour length leaves something to be desired. Sale material.

Platinum No. 90: Death End Re;Quest. One of Compile Heart’s most solid games to date. It does interesting things with its trapped-in-a-game-that’s-glitching-out premise and goes to some seriously dark places in spite of its moe aesthetic. A surprise.

Platinum no. 89: The Nonary Games. A stunning achievement in plotting and utilising the gaming medium to its fullest. 999 was a true delight, and it is impressive how well VLRs story holds up when you replay it. Both will have a special place in my heart!

Waking up to Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 being announced is an intensely surreal and exciting experience. Oh my yes, I want this! \(^-^)/

#shelfietoid A bit hard to capture in one shot, but I’m pleased with my set-up.

Ah-hyuck, the name’s Goofy! Sweet dreams!

I somehow managed to pass the true final last super oh-my-gosh-it's-over-after-this college exam with a 6.9/10. Are you guys proud of me or what? :D Graduating in style~

Hope you've all been having a lovely Christmas - I certainly have! Very, -very- pleased with my gifts.

EDIT: It turns out this is fake. I'm very sorry for sharing fake news without checking its veracity more thoroughly. Jesus, I feel stupid now.

So, that Valkyria Chronicles 4 is pretty lovely! I have to say, 2018 started really slow for me, but all in all it's been a splendid year for gaming after all. Maybe not as stupendous as last year, buuuuut... it's been a good 'un, right?

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary, Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore— While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, as of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door...

428: Shibuya Scramble stole my heart. Not just the unique presentation and excellent localisation, but the way this visual novel plays with the medium. How your decisions directly affect the other protagonists is genius stuff. It’s like a puzzle!

It’s my 25th birthday today! I’ve officially darkened reality’s doorstep for a quarter century now, neeheeheehee...

This franchise, man, I swear.

Now this is a launch trailer! ALL RISE FOR THE NATIONAL ANTHEM OF MAJIMA.

Someone’s making herself at home...

I used to be addicted to soap, but I’m clean now.

Why, hello there! My name is Serethyn. I have been avidly partaking of fine digital interactive entertainment since 1675.

As a fresh and rather insecure face to the cBlog Scene, I hope that I will eventually be able to produce some half-decent writing material.

Oh, and here are some of my favourite games of all time!

Massive thanks to Dango for the lovely image!
