Air Fortress HAL 1987
Part Shmup part metriod. Part controll plastic spaceman toy. Some old friends got me this game for my birthday it was like an amazing game.
here's the You Tube Vid to show you how great it is
Shadow of the Ninja Natsume 1990
These days we now Natsume for the boring as all hell Harvest moon and the Fantastic 360 Shmup Omega Five but in 1990 they produced this fantastic Ninja Gaiden killer. It does tie in to the Ninja Gaiden Universe by way of it's sequel coming out in the US as Ninja Gaiden Shadow
Code name Viper Capcom 1989
A pretty blatant rip off of Namco's fantastic Rolling Thunder Series. But all thinks considered it's a pretty amazing Ripoff even if you can see the ending a mile away.
Akumajou Densetsu Konami 1989
Hey wait just a Goddamn Minute. This is just Caslevania III. Why is it a forgotten NES Classic? Well. It's got better music and Graphical Effects and it was never released outside Japan in this form Due to Nintendo being complete and Utter Douchebags about Custom Chips in NES Carts. The video is from a translated Rom somebody hacked.
Pinball Quest Jaleco 1990
It's an RPG no it's a pinball game... it's Both. probably the most wacked out idea anybody had had at the time. It's not unlike the Great Devil's and Alien Crush on the PC Engine.
But still probably the most unique game I listed here.
So there you have it a few NES games we've forgotten about. Great stuff all around.
