While not my first day of existence,I am not sure how long I have been here. Witnessing the sounds beyond my wooden roof and small door I grew fearful of the screeching monster filled darkness of the world above, and chose the seclusion of the underworld. I bore openings to find doorways beneath the earth, gaining access the volcanic pores and ocean spawning glands of my planetary home. Bringing rise to the evils of the devils minions under the endless pitch black paths of stone and dirt, Ive chose the lesser of evils and found solace in the open embrace of the air and sky.
Peering past the dense thicket of the forest reveals the resonant beauty above my underground beachside home. The various blue shades of the ever flowing oceans distract me from the numbing green and grey of the visually impenetrable woods, and the soulless view of stones. The occasional sightings of cheetahs warm the spirit, revealing the notion that I am not alone. In excitement of what else was around, and gain further clarity about my immediate domain, I begin working plans of a great tower build upon my subterranean shanty. Im going to need more wood
Learning from a mysteriously endless pool of knowledge, I begin to toil away at the wooden exteriors of my neighboring trees. Tearing at their being gives me purpose, knowing its essence shall give me a resource, for which I can bend to my will without thought. Clearing away a decent yard, I take my neighbors and stack upon each other to form great tower, aiming higher than the clouds. If I build higher than any tree, when the ghoulish monsters clench their grasp upon me, and return to the forest, I shall see the shining flame of my great tower, and find my way home, These words formed in my psyche as a grew higher and higher, never satisfied with my rising progress.
Feeling content with my view above the clouds, my tower along with my thirst proved bigger than my eyesight once I reached the bottom to relish in achievement. Climbing to the bottom and leveling my crown with the horizon, I notice my tower is too tall for sight. To proud to tear the behemoth down, I section halfway down, creating a second watch house high in view.
During each night, I carefully add additions to my humble abode, afraid the crying sounds of zombies, creepers, or spiders are right behind my scruff. Retreating to the safety of my door like a rat pinned to its hole, I do not stray far from my room. Constantly peering through my windowed door for the light of day, I shuffle across my safest borders waiting to get to my next goal outside, searching for something to do in the meantime. Finding nothing of worth, and suddenly I realize Ive been up for days, worried for my mental health I decide to sleep.
