My first gaming machine was a black and white binatone tennis (the one with the paddles) which included the attachment gun to shot the dot as it bounced around the screen (if you stood too close aiming wasn't needed as you scored a hit every time).
I then moved on to The ZX Spectrum (48k not the poor 16K) enjoying 10 minutes of Binary tape sounds to play a game.
I retired from adolescent gaming except for gameboy and then Gameboy advance - until this generation when as a middle aged man, with time and no outward social life I invested in first the PS3 and then the 360. Loving both consoles for their different attributes and rediscovering the joys of a vibrating leather gaming chair.
