Hi, I'm @Wraithkal. My background in video games dates back to the mid/the late 1980s, with experience ranging from Commodore to Nintendo, SEGA and beyond. Although while the 8- and 16-bit systems were pretty darn great back then, the PC rarely took a backseat. That's changed in recent years, however, due to a shift in focus to indie games. But... even with a strong focus on indie games (see link below), new and old, I'm still not one to ignore the importance of video game history!
