One of the changes it seems is that they added a level up system instead of just relying on the old "Whoever does best is rewarded by picking first of the goodies" system. There also seems to be word of more customization although it might just be more hair styles and colors. Also, a special attack system seems to have been added to each class. For example: Selkies can learn some sort of an arrow shower move and Lilties can roll up in a ball and charge people.
That's all fine and dandy but what I am just looking forward to is the online multi-player. I remember how I single handedly ruined the last Crystal Chronicles for my friends and I when I was impatient to wait for them all to get together so I played the hell out of the game by myself. When they came around to join, all of them got "owned" due to the fact that the monsters scaled near my level. Now we get the option of adventuring via the internet. Hazzah!
Well let's hope this one is just as good as the last Crystal Chronicles and hope they did away with that lame Narrator. Although I do have a feeling I am the only one excited for this game since I didn't know many people who were too fond of the first one for Gamecube.
