About TimOfTheNorthone of us since 2:32 PM on 03.29.2012

I'm from Canada and I've been loving video games since I was five. Super Mario Brothers and Final Fantasy were my firsts on the NES and my experiences soon snowballed from console to console. Fast-forward to now and I'm more of a critical thinker towards this entertainment industry. Whatever your preference, you're going to have "good" games just like you have "bad" ones. Picking these games apart, asking "who thought this was a good idea?" that's where the fun starts.

To me, a game's heart lies with its story. If you're still talking about your favorite sequence several days after you've completed the game; you know the developers have accomplished what they set out to do.

Favorites-wise, I lean more towards action-adventures and role-playing games. I can even name a few game music composers whose works I hold in high regard - Nobuo Uematsu (Lost Odyssey) Yasunori Mitsuda (Xenogears) and Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill and Shadows of the Damned)

I'm also a meat popsicle.
