Ever Changing Emotions and Videogames

Seriously sometimes I wish I didn't have any emotions.

There are always those days when you wake up and you feel like shit. You don't really know why but it sucks. Today is one of those days. :-( BUT it made me think of something that I never really thought of before: how my emotions affect the games I play.

I had the day off today and was really looking forward to finishing the platinum on Darksiders 2. But when it came down to it, I was just too down to really give a fuck. Funny how things change so quickly, right? All my friends are working, my girlfriend at university; I was stuck with nothing to do and didn't want to game. That's when it hit me that even emotions can impact your gaming life. One change in emotion totally changed what game I wanted to play. I am sure this happens a lot but I never really thought about it, I guess I never really cared...

People deal with emotions in all different sorts of ways. Ever since I was a kid there has always been two games that always cheered me up when I was sad. No matter the occasion really, these games always made me feel good; after putting them to the test today I can say they still do. :-D

Super fucking Mario World! I don't know about you but that cover always puts a smile on my face (look at Yoshis eyes, he wants it so bad). The fact alone that Mario loves to ride Yoshi more than Peach always makes my day- who wouldn't ride the fuck out of Yoshi?

From the animations to the amazing sound track to the very distinct sound Yoshi makes when he swallows ;-P. It is all so comical and so charming. There aren't very many games that can snap me out of a funk like this one can.

No game was fitting of my mood so I decided to visit my old friend Mario in hopes he can rekindle my spirit. Oh man... right off the bat I was whistling along to the melodies. Doing dirty, dirty things to Yoshi and instantly I went from frowning to having a boner.

Ahh but Mario isn't the only one.. oh no.

He is one of the sexiest man alive. He would probably shit and pee on you for pleasure. And his best feature: swimming in a septic tank full of shit is his favorite hobby.

Listen... I don't know why but I fucking love this game and it kills me. Farts and burps are awesome... fuck you, I guess I am immature. It is just so rude, dirty and kind of creepy haha. There is nothing like killing your enemies with a huge stinky fart. Fuck, just writing about this is making me laugh. Alright... alright you get my point, moving on.

I could go on all day about what games I like to play when I am pissed or happy, etc. It is just everyone is so different and maybe emotions don't even have an effect on your gaming habits. For all I know you could also be like me and get horny playing Hyperdimension Neptunia or Final Fantasy XIII-2... ahhhhh...

Hornyness and video games haha... what a thing to talk about. Well we all know the Japanese LOVE their Bishojo and Eroge games. The funniest thing about it is they sure know how to market it. Every time I visit Japan and I go to these adult stores I take these high quality booklets (like you can see in the picture above). Its like they want you to masturbate to the game before you even bought it. Some of these booklets can be 10 pages long- also free. I know I collect some really weird shit.

One of the most awkward moments of my life happened because of these fucking booklets. I didn't have enough room in my suitcase so I put them all into my carry on. They take my bag and scan it, I was told to come to the other side while they check my bag. I was like what the fuck? The cute Japanese lady takes out all the prints and turned so red and it was so cute, I almost came on the spot. So many people were looking at me though with these why-the-fuck-do-you-have-these eyes. It was all because of a stupid case of lead for my pencil. Why wasn't this brought to their attention when I left for Japan, HUH!? Canadas security sucks ass.

Anyways... I kind of just drifted away and started ranting. I think I wrote enough haha... bye bye :-D
