I've been a gamer all my life. That always comes as a shock to people, because they say I don't look like I'm into games. Yes, looks can be a bit deceiving, but I hide it well, or I just never really get to talk about my love of gaming with those who don't share the same interest. Or maybe people have this preconceived notion of what gamers should look like, and I don't conform to that image. Regardless of that, I am a gamer, always have been, always will be (as long as there are interesting games to play, and time to spare).

I got into gaming when I was very young, but adept enough with motor skills to play those handheld shooters. My sibs were all really into it too, which made acquiring games easier (because we would just pool our money together for any new releases). Our first system was the Nintendo. It was Duck Hunt and the first Mario that got me hooked. I never looked back after that. As the years passed, we came to acquire all the consoles.

After my sibs and I went our separate ways, I had to acquire my own consoles and games. Naturally, I went with the PC and PS3.

I love a variety of games. RPGs are my weakness...they're the only games that could hold my attention/interest long enough (the good ones anyway). My favourites include Square's older classic Final Fantasy games, Chrono Trigger, Persona 3, Disgaea 2, and anything from Bioware. My all-time favourite is Dragon Age: Origins. I love strategy games as well, including Warcraft-types, Command and Conquer, those Dune games, Starcraft, Diablo, etc. Love Tekken! Tried mmorpgs (FFXI, WoW, Guild Wars), got really obsessed with them for awhile, but I'm not playing any currently, nor would I be against playing them in the future as long as they're interesting.
