Well, it's officially fall now, Dtoid community. For those of us in the colder parts of the world, it means things are about to get a bit more chilly, a bit more snowy and we'll be waiting another 6 months until it truly gets warm again. That, or you could just take a trip somewhere warm by smuggling yourself in the back of an 18-wheeler and riding down to Florida. You know, because it's cheaper to do that than fly on an airplane. Maybe not legal, but definitely cheaper. And hey, you don't have to worry about losing your luggage, either!
But fall also means that the avalanche of games we've all been waiting for is upon us, just in time for the holiday season. Or what's going to be left of the holiday season after the global economy imploded. Hell, I might just be lucky to get coal fro Christmas this year so I can burn it to keep myself warm.
This week, I did happen to get one game before the inevitable avalanche of titles:
Of course, the game is kinda mostly known for this:
But I'll let you know how it actually plays on the PC the more I get into it. Like all games I play, I'm going into this with an open mind and a hopeful thought that this game won't disappoint. I don't expect it to be a Halo killer, but as long as it's fun, that's what matters.
So I've got Section 8 to play with this week, Dtoid crew. What'd all of you get?
