Greetings, fellow Destructoiders!
It is certainly no secret that I frequently write game design articles that I publish in my spare time. From my humble beginnings with my anime FPS write-up to my most recent analysis of id Software's Doom, I have constantly strived to turn my posts into something that's both interesting and informative.
Recently, I started to feel the urge of expanding my writing endeavors by dabbling in more creative avenues. What I'm trying to elucidate is that I wish to hone my writing skills in other areas such as fiction. I already attemtped that with moderately successful results (my visual novel and incomplete Valkyria Chronicles fan fiction being good examples), but now that I procured myself a copy of the screenwriting tool Final Draft, I can finally write my thoughts and ideas down more promptly and succinctly.
My first attempt at concise writing consists of a script that I recently wrote. You can find it on Dropbox by following the link below:
Let me know what you think of this draft. It's likely that I'll be doing more of those in the near-future to refine my writing chops and share my ideas more frequently with y'all.
Also, I would to thank you all for supporting me over the past weeks since my return to Destructoid. I am sorry to have left you in the dark last year, and I sincerely hope it won't happen again.
Other than that, have a good one!
