Saturday Afternoon Delight: Ceremony Edition

Did you watch the opening ceremonies of the olympics? This is kind of like that, except we don't have anything to do with the olympics and we don't have ceremonies and we exclusively play videogames which aren't in the olympics (yet) and you don't get any medals and Paul McCartney isn't allowed here under any circumstances. See? Just like it.

Come play some fucking videogames or don't.

SAND is like Friday Night Fights, with a couple of pointed differences:

1) Things are not restricted to "the evening."
2) We actively encourage older games/games not in the FNF rotation. (We encourage, but really, what's fun is fun.)
3) It's on Saturday!

It's an extension I felt was needed. FNF is great fun, but the rest of the weekend is probably better for getting together for some online gaming.

Remember, new peoples, anybody is free to host whatever they please. Just give us the game name, time (in EST, preferably) and GT/PSNID/Friend code.

Today's Weekend Hotness:

Game: Gears of War 3
Host: Onyx Oblivion GT: OnyxOblivion007
Time: 3:00 p.m. EST

Game: Left 4 Dead 2
Host: smurfee mcgee GT: smurfee mcgee
Time: 3:30 p.m. EST

About Dtoid Saturday Afternoon Delightone of us since 10:42 PM on 06.29.2012

Every Friday (And Saturday) a bunch of Destructoid folks get together to play video games. It's true. Things can get confusing when trying to get a lot of people together, so we try to squeeze all the info into one or two places.

We're the blog to organize Destructoid Saturday Afternoon Delight for ANY AND ALL systems!

FNF (and SAND) is a weekly, community-run event where Dtoiders get together to play videogames online! Planning starts in the forums, followed by posts here in the cblogs and on the front page on Fridays. It's easy to get involved, so why not start today?!

<-- Read the blog for more info!

Like FNF itself, this cblog is run by the community, your hosts are listed below:
