Yesterday me and the lady tried the definitive classic unitedstatian sandwich: the vegan hotdog.

I was pretty pumped to play 30~45min of NMS Beyond before work, then I had to update my GPU driver, then I had to download a small patch, then I ended up playing 5 minutes only (+10 during lunch break). At least the new Pokedex page looks way better now

It is Father's Day here in Brazil, so I spent the morning in the most fatherly way possible: playing No Man's Sky while the baby and his mom slept. More pics from today's session in the comments, including two fabulous animals I found.

Building my base, room by room. If you look really close you can see my little dude standing over one of the skylights. Too bad that building each wall block takes 40 freaking carbon each. Anyway, should probably go back to the main quest

This is basically me with videogames (edit: my partner just reminded me that this was exactly what happened when I watched Avatar/Korra earlier this year)

Guess I'm back at NMS. Started a new file because I have no idea of what I was doing on my previous one. Slightly boring adventures await! I really missed playing it :)

Also I got really into Pixel Dungeon until I've decided to play it during my early morning poop, only to find out I spent almost 2 hours playing it while sitting on the throne. Had to uninstall it, I'm pretty bad already at managing time without this game

Sorry I still haven't answered the recomendations and tips, but thanks for answering my last qpost! There are too many good games and too little free time, still wanna check thise android games out.

Hey folks, any tips of good free or cheap games on the play store? Been bored to death during those early overtime hours I've been doing this week

Btw this weekend I've tried my hand at running 3U/4U on Citra to see how they look in HD, and got surprisingly good, relatively playable results! But now O wish I had the kind of free time needed to replay 3U/4U/World from scratch :l

Guess who will have to be at work 1 hour and 30 min earlier everyday during this week to work overtime due to the service desk team being understaffed?!?!

Looks like the little guy is into old school Metronomy, huh

Welp, I guess that's it. Got the regular ending but not feeling like 100%ing it. Great game, probably the best designed Edmund McMillen game I"ve played so far.

Dilemma: I'm really enjoying The End is Nigh and I'm nearing the end, but playing just 15~30min a day is feels like it is taking forever. Not sure if I actually finish it or if I call it the day, watch the ending on YouTube and play something else instead.

Overtime at work + sick baby at home = I hadn't had much free time lately . Completely paused my gamedev stuff, playing games in small tiny chunks. Currently playing The End is Nigh, and this game is as good as it is sadistic. The ost kicks too much ass

Lately I've been too busy adulting for games or gamedev, but yesterday morning I was miraculously able to beat TWO games! Oceanhorn: it is like topdown Zelda but worse, still pretty fun! Lovely Planet 2:incredibly fun and cute, better than the original

Me: hey, you're looking really sick. Like, really awful, holy shit. I'll take you to a doctor tomorrow after work. My partner, with a really hoarse voice: nah, it is not as bad as it looks.

At first I was baffled about how Valve was apathetic towards Epic's competition. But they surprised me with their latest sale, and it is nice to see both companies putting some serious efforts at trying to piss off developers more than the other one!

Now I can technically say that I've worked on a commercial game, and by "worked" I mean "spent only a few minutes translating the menus to portuguese". It is a sequel to a game I enjoyed a good bit that looks adorable, sounds great and was hard as heck.

Also, while I had a good fun playing TF2 and Stardew Valley yesterday,I did play those mostly to get some Steam Grand Prix quests done so I could grab some extra coins for the R$10 discount. But the quests bugged and didn't count and I needed 650 coins

Good: yesterday I was able to play some good gaminghours, and I haven't done this in months! It was fun. Bad: but it was due m partner and my baby being pretty sick, and I definitely would rather them to be healthy than play games :|

I forgot that today was the last day to get the super cheap Xboxflix thingie, but at the same time I'm almost sure I won't have time to play those games. Also, the regular price here ins't bad at all, so will maybe try it during my vacation time later

Since last week I've been doing 1~2h of overtime, but starting today I'll be doing my regular shift, hooray! Still working on my prototype, been able to do two 15 minutes gamedev sessions a day. Next step will be to add buttons and shooting!

The baby is asleep, time to prototype some shit

Today's Steam promo haul. Bought it all with Steam Cards money because I'm a cheap bastard

About the Steam Grand Prix thingie: I've joined team turtle because Corgi seemed overwhelmingl too much popular and also because I'm an idiot, apparently

Wasn't sure which game I should play next after fiishing Kero Blaster, and don't wanna play Borderlands 2 solo, so I guess I'll be playing not-Zelda next!

Someone got older today and we celebrated by making sugarless oatmeal banana pancakes. I'm not sure, but I think he liked it!

About Churros89one of us since 10:08 PM on 02.07.2012

Hello! My name is André and I live in Brazil. Currently I'm a System Analisis and Development student and I'm a hobbyist game dev (current status: life block).

My love of games comes from when my parents gave me a Sega Mega Drive when I was 4 (i think). My mom still regrets this decision to this day.

Love all consoles equally, but my current game devices are a trusty 3DS and my ok-ish laptop (at least it was a neat machine back in 2014).

Dango made me a list with my very favorite games ever (thanks a lot dude!):
