I don't know whether my child self would be impressed or ashamed that I have such a big collection of games I've not finished so many of them.

Last night I discovered that my moth OC apparently has a page on the Kaiju Fanon Wiki. A practically empty page, but apparently it... exists? Okay?

Lethal League Blaze has a delightful, weird quality where I enjoy every match, even if I got my rear handed to me in a 1v1 and if I had framerate issues (tho still fix Switch Online, Nintendo). I'm just always amused and excited by the outcome of a fight!

Oh no... I think I like Auto Chess. I've barely started playing it, but I think it hits too many of my personal interests.

Starting to get into Crypt of the Necrodancer on PS4. I'm really digging it, but given everything I hear about Cadence of Hyrule being so much easier, I can't help but wonder if I should pick that up soon before I practice Necrodancer too much...!

I fudging love this community. I owe it to myself to try to make myself more active in quickposts and the like again...!

All of this recent talk about how G2A and Epic are devaluing indie games is reminding me... a while back, I boasted about how much I saved on an indie game (and also a bigger full-priced game, but still). In retrospect, not very proud of that.

Kyeeehehehehe... after 600 moth years, I finally did it. I obtained the true source of weeb power...

If Toy Story brand toys were sentient like the toys in Toy Story, would they have a more or less surreal experience recognizing that they are real sentient toys based off of fictional sentient toys...?

PECK. I just got home from work today and I got treated to this from an artist I've barely chat with and have considered commissioning for a while. Well, time to make the most of my birthday evening! (Adding sauce to comments)

For Minish Cap, GDQ named Link "Moth". I'm proud of the internet.

Me and Wes are about to fight in a McDonald's ball pit on the sun, place your bets now

Unlike most games I find myself extremely excited for, I find myself trying to avoid info on Hollow Knight: Silksong. At least until reviews come so I can see how it generally compares against the original. Wanting to go in as blind as possible this time.

Why is 2019 already halfway over? Is this... the passage of time...?

Funny how I started God of War now of all weekends. Happy Father's Day, everybody!

Finally picked up Dad of Boy thanks to the PSN sale. After exploring the Lake a little, I am convinced I've made a very good decision.

Has it ever occurred to you how movie remakes are often met with ridicule and video game remakes are celebrated? I mean, I agree, games are interactive tech and you can do a lot more meaningful/good changes than with a movie remake, but food for thought.

As much as I'm liking this E3, I'm baffled by how most conferences show at least one game that would most likely be banned if the anti loot box bill passes. Just seems like a waste of advertising time to me? Now is the worst time to advertise that crap.

Unexpected benefits to tweeting half-baked reactions to E3: Catching up with old friends I thought I'd never see again! Video kinda sorta related because said friend created it.

I'm going to main a robot wizard in Phantasy Star Online 2 and nobody can stop me

My Twitter timeline is full of adorable Godzilla x Mothra fanart and I just gained my second reason to avoid throwing Twitter into the garbage compactor.

It feels so surreal that I'm getting hyped for a remake of a Spongebob game, but for Battle of Bikini Bottom? It just feels... oddly right! I should be cautious as always, but I'm optimistic about everything we've seen thus far.

If zombie apocalypse games let you use anything as a weapon how come you can't stick a half dozen whiteboard markers together and use them as a sword?

I just got this new commission from an artist I've followed for YEARS and aaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA MY COURAGE HAS PAID OFF (by Twitter user StarDustShiba)

Pokemon Sleep might feel a bit like an off season April Fools' joke, but I actually think it's an admirable idea to make a game to promote healthier sleeping habits! I just can't help but wonder how it'll stop people from cheesing it...

Writing yesterday's piece was pretty cathartic, especially since my new day job begins tomorrow. Is it selfish for me to ask for luck? You know what, fudge it. Wish me luck!

About Chris Hovermaleone of us since 8:03 PM on 07.31.2017

I'm a former Contributor who goes by the screen name Cedi or CediFonei on most corners of the internet! Not quite obligatory disclosure; I backed Chris Niosi's TOME RPG on Kickstarter. I really wish that wasn't the first Kickstarter game I ever backed...

I first joined the site wanting to make a name for myself as a blogger, and somehow, did so enough to get a good run as a staff member. I left the team so I could better focus on new goals in life, but I hang around the community because I've made so many great friends here. Expect me to share some less critical and more creative shenanigans in the blogs from time to time...!

As far as social media is concerned, you can find me on my personal Twitter account! Fair advice, you can expect to see a lot more of the big blue character in my banner if you check that out. Whether that's a recommendation or a warning depends. By the way, that banner is a commission by Twitter user @kaizer33226.
