Yo nerds! You ready to have some sticky wet recaps popped in your ass? GOOD!
So my PS3 died. That was a lovely shit surprise. Hopefully getting it fixed this week so I can continue my pirating adventures in Assassin's Creed IV. In the mean time I've just been playing a ton of LoZ: Link Between Worlds and Spelunky. I'm looking forward to the Playstation 14 sale tomorrow, I wanna get peace Walker and play through it before Ground Zeroes comes out.
I've also been watching Space Dandy. At first I was a little iffy on it but the second episode sold me on it. I just wish it had a bit more of those super badass choreographed fight sequences. If you haven't seen it yet I highly recommend checking it out.
Lately I've been wanting to buy a new board game and I got a $50 Amazon gift card for Christmas. I've narrowed it down to King of Tokyo (going to play it at game night at the bar tonight) and Eldritch Horror (haven't played it but I have played Arkham Horror). Have any of you played either of these games before?
I'd love to talk more nerdy junk but I've got a lot of real life dumb adult things to do today so I should wrap this up. Hope you guys have a fantastic week! I know I'm going to!
For this month's prompt, let's look back in time on our favorite games, then bring our gaze back to the present. Back then, Pokémon had 150 different monsters to collect, psychic types and ghosts were pretty strong, and the only reliable method of hatching eggs was riding a bike downhill on that bike path outside Celadon. Now, Pokémon has added three new types, psychics were toned down considerably (maybe too much until we see how Sun and Moon do), and we've since seen running and even rollerblading added to help in egg hatching.
