So this weekend is Gay Pride weekend for my city, and there's going to be a parade tomorrow morning right outside my apartment. I'm pretty excited about it, it should be a lot of fun. But because it's in the morning, I'd like to get some sleep while I can, so these -isms are gonna be a bit short.
This week I played Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom (finally!) and it was a really cute game! I was initially a little put off by the Majin's voice, but I quickly fell in love with it as the game progressed. He's just way too adorable (although he tends to trip over himself entirely too often). I'm not sure I'd recommend the game for everyone, but I really enjoyed my time with it nonetheless. It was clear to me that a lot of heart was put into making the game, and I appreciated that.
I also finally subscribed to PS Plus (it's about time, right?). I played The Cave and Machinarium for free this week, two more really cute games. I like cute things, you see. I've also got access to XCOM: Enemy Unkown, Uncharted 3, Saints Row the Third, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution, among other games, all for FREE! I'm wondering which one I should play first. I'm thinking I might try out XCOM first, even though I'm not too big on strategy games. It just looks really cool.
Anyway, my bed is calling for me. Happy Gay Pride month, everyone! :)
