Hi, Destructoid! My name is Brett Makedonski, and I'm incredibly damn excited to be a new contributor on the Dtoid team. Since there's already a (probably much cooler) Brett in these neck of the woods, you can call me Donski, if you'd like -- pretty much everyone already does, anyway.
I'm here because I have a passion for writing and a love for videogames. When those two come together it's like -- well, maybe this Family Guy clip can explain it better than I can.
I've been writing about videogames for about three years now. I've done the bulk of my work for a community site called 360Sync, but I've also contributed to SideQuesting and have a few editorials under my belt here on Dtoid.
Like pretty much everyone else, I've been playing games ever since I was a tot. The entirety of this time, I've (for whatever reason) been a pure completionist when it comes to games. Obsessing over collecting every heart piece in Zelda just seems natural to me. This has led to recent personal endeavors such as earning full Gamerscore in Trials HD and attaining 100%(+) completion in Super Meat Boy, both of which rank high on my personal list of gaming achievements. Other than that, here's a picture of me in some offensively tight green jeans and the ugliest shirt I could find. Enjoy!
Now let's bring it in real close for a group hug. That sure is nice, isn't it?

While you laughing, we're passing, passing away.

Disclosure: One of my roles around here is "Guy who handles retail affiliate stuff." The "Deals" tag auto-populates a disclaimer message that links in these articles usually send a little money Destructoid's way so that Kyle can keep posting Gardevoir pictures. (Maybe those two aren't directly correlated, but I really wish they were.)
