Blizzard’s unannounced IP is an MMO

We now have one itty-bitty detail regarding Blizzard’s unannounced, but often speculated upon, unannounced IP: it’s an MMO.

Blizzard’s community manager, “Zarhym,” spilled the genre beans on the official World of Warcraft forums when he responsed to an enthusiast’s ramblings on everything Blizzard, which included a stern dismissal of a new Blizzard MMO.

“We have nothing to advertise for the new MMO because it’s a shell of a game thus far,” he wrote. “We’ve already stated it’ll be a brand new franchise, which means the lore, art, and game play are being developed entirely from scratch.”

So, there you have it. The unannounced IP is an MMO and it’s apparently still raw. Twenty bucks says it’ll still come out before Duke Nukem For — oh yeah. I forgot.
