Uh oh, looks like the speculation as to whether or not Hideo Kojima is working on a new Metal Gear can be put to rest. The above image was taken from the infamous countdown page that is currently ticking away toward the reveal of Kojima Productions’ next time. As you can see, it’s Naked Snake, aka Big Boss. Metal Gear Solid 5 confirmed? A brand new MG series set in the Snake Eater timeline? You decide!
Kojima has been stringing us along for a while now, and this is the first solid evidence of what his next project will be. Fans will either be disappointed or delighted to see that a Metal Gear character is making his return. What do you think?
