B-DASH gets the stop-motion Lego treatment

Recommended Videos

Have you heard the song “B-DASH” by Japanese group Tongari Kids? It’s essentially a Mario Bros. themed Japanese nerdcore tune, and it’s catchy as hell.

Found on Japan’s Nico Nico Douga, the above video uses stop motion techniques and Legos to retell the story in the “B-DASH” lyrics. For those not up on their Japanese, many of the songs lines talk about an unfortunate Mario situation and end with the tag line “B-DASH,” referring to dashing with the “B” button in Super Mario Bros. The video animation matches up with the lyrics nicely, especially when the guy’s mom comes into the room, threatening to unplug his Famicom.
