Chatting it up with Dallas radio station 105.3 KLLI, actor Dan Aykroyd confirmed (via Kotaku) rumors that Terminal Reality’s Ghostbusters title has been picked up for publishing by Atari. Aykroyd also mentioned that the highly-anticipated title is no less than “a year away” from being released.

This jives with multiple sources of our own, all of which have confirmed the Atari publishing deal. Additionally, we’ve heard that the title will be given more love, and that Terminal Reality has been given the green light to continue work on the title, adding polish up to as late as May of 2009.

While the Atari deal hasn’t officially been announced, based on what we’re hearing, an official reveal should be coming shortly.

Also, busting makes me feel good.
