Electronic Arts may have lost over $1 billion last year, but no worries. See, they have a plan to bail themselves out. And part of that plan involves a sh*tton of iPhone games. Not a bad plan, I’d say.

In a quarterly conference call with investors, EA dropped some information on what they have coming up in the next year. They said that they’re working on a lineup of 30 games for the Jesus Phone. This somehow reminds me of the rumor that Apple was interested in the publisher. I wonder if there are any ties between the two. Regardless, making iPhone games seems to be good buisness right now. We should see some of those offerings next month at E3.

EA’s Riccitello also has some other games up his sleeves for next year. He said that he’s confident that 10 EA Wii games to be released during the year will be hits. Interesting. Additionally, the Sims 3 is coming, and it will also be on Apple computer and iPhones, with DLC from day one. He also points to EA Sports Active and Brutal Legend as potential breakout games for the year.
