Obsidian Entertainment’s upcoming RPG Alpha Protocol is certainly action-heavy. In the game, you play as a scorned spy capable of kicking through jawbones and delivering devastating injuries via firearms. You can also jam an old man’s face into a table.
But before you can ram the geezer’s nose into wood, you’ll have to talk to him first. And really, that’s the point of this post. Yesterday, SEGA released another Alpha Protocol developer diary (viewable after the break) dealing exclusively with the game’s dialogue system — something we haven’t seen too much of yet.
As you may already know, Thornton has a few options for each line of dialogue he delivers. He can be a jerk, a lover, a fighter, and so on. Each option you choose effects the game’s story and therefore the world you play in.
Sounds too good to be true, sure, but check out the diary anyway. Because, seriously folks, Thornton literally rams a dude’s face into a table. It’s hilarious.
