After Burner Climax is now free on mobile

Sega Forever scores another classic

Sega's free mobile game initiative, Sega Forever, has just scored After Burner Climax for its growing library of titles. A mobile port of the 2006 arcade classic, Climax is a sequel to the long-running After Burner series of arcade games. This particular entry tasks players with taking down a nuclear threat as a member of the "Brave Fangs Aero Team" with plenty of plane customization options and over 20 different stages.

As with other Sega Forever titles, players can download an ad-supported version for free or pay a one-time fee of $1.99/ €2.29 / £1.99 to remove ads permanently. There is also controller support and cloud saving options available, making this a great way to experience the title on the go.
