Adventure gaming finds a new Ho(l)me(s)

If you’ve got an itch that only a digital Sherlock Holmes and Jack the Ripper can scratch, then head on over to The Adventure Shop — the only place (re: exclusive) where you can buy the PC version of Focus Home Interactive’s Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper. Killer.

The Adventure Shop, by the way, is a Web site dedicated to selling recent adventure games. You won’t find any LucasArts or Sierra On-Line classics in their catalogue, but you will find soon-to-be classic titles Dracula 3: The Path of the Dragon and The Color of Murder: A Carol Reed.

Also of note is The Longest Journey, a title that really isn’t that bad by adventure game standards.

Yes, this is a minor PC PSA, but we’re eager to talk Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper. (The Xbox 360 version, as we understand it, is still coming.) Have any of you tried this out yet? Is it the greatest thing ever created?
