A look ahead at Terry Cavanagh’s forthcoming games

“These last two years have left me with a number of very promising, incomplete prototypes, and what I’m going to try doing this year instead is focus on finishing these,” writes Terry Cavanagh, the developer behind VVVVVV. His new year’s resolution is to not start any new projects in 2012.

What does that leave us with? Cavanagh intends to focus on his “huge” RPG with Jonas Kyratzes, Nexus City; a more manageable introductory game, Nexus City Spinoff, hopefully finished before March; and his Four Letter Word prototype. A handful of smaller games are listed as well, including KittyRPG. Kitties!

Back in August, Nexus City was described as feeling, in some ways, “like the game I got into making games to make.”
