A Double Fine ... sequel? Costume Quest 2 announced

How many games are in production at the studio, again?

Double Fine's turn-based role-playing game Costume Quest is getting a sequel for PC and consoles by way of publisher Midnight City, the two companies announced today. Moving on up!

Protagonists Wren and Reynold return for the follow-up with new costumes and transformations, and there's said to be an "upgraded" battle system in place. That's about all we know at this point -- there aren't even screenshots yet -- but I'd expect more of the same great charm.

Now, unless you're really into logos, this trailer has nothing of substance as far as Costume Quest 2 is concerned -- but it's so worth watching. These people know how to have fun.
