Fallout 76's NPCs stay quarantined for an extra week

Like the rest of the world, the non-playable characters in Fallout 76 have to stay inside a little while longer. The only difference is that unlike us, they've never seen the light of day. Bethesda has been forced to delay the upcoming...

A whole lot of you are playing Doom Eternal

Hell is really taking a beating lately, what with so many of you Doom Slayers out there doing your part to control the demon population. Bullets are flying, and the floor is very slick from all the blood and viscera. Watch your step, we wou...

Review: Doom Eternal

Back in 2016, Bethesda was following a policy that limited early review access to its games. Doom fell under said policy, which led to concerns regarding its quality, and whispers that Bethesda wasn't confident in it. It only took five...

Fallout Shelter is getting an expanded version soon

How's your vault holding up? Chances are you've neglected your duties as Overseer, leading to a vault filled with starved dwellers and radroach infestations. Five years is a long time to be responsible for the well-being of a whole communi...

Doom 64 has a new-for-2020 bonus chapter

If I weren't already sold on Nightdive Studios' new round of Doom 64 ports for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch – five bucks is such a spot-on, impulse-worthy price – then the game's new features would push me ov...

Here's how Fallout 76's new NPC dialogue system works

Dialogue? In a Fallout game? Well I'd never! Human NPCs? In a Fallout game? Well...you get the point. It's still insane to me, a year and a half later, that Fallout 76 didn't launch with a proper NPC-led story mode, but now that the fr...

This Doom Eternal TV ad misses the mark entirely

Here is a Doom Eternal advertisement that does exactly nothing to capture why people are so enraptured by Doom. For a marketing effort whose sole purpose is to sell the game, this commercial manages to make Doom Eternal look...

Doom 1, 2, and 3 are all under $3 on Switch right now

Bethesda is doing everything it can to make sure that everyone is in a Doom state of mind. Last week, we learned that Doom 64 will launch on March 20 alongside Doom Eternal, and it'll have a standalone price of $5. Super reasonabl...

At five bucks, I can't turn down Doom 64 on Switch

While many of us are planning to play as much Doom Eternal or Animal Crossing: New Horizons as possible on March 20, 2020, some fans are going to spend the busy day hunting down Mother Demon in Doom 64. Nightdive and id Software's port of t...

This Fallout 4 recreation in Dreams is out of this world

It's so exciting to see new players and creators dive into Dreams, the just-fully-launched game and art creation suite from LittleBigPlanet's own Media Molecule. There's no shortage of stuff to thumbs-up, but some of it needs to be seen to ...

Bethesda details new reputation system for Fallout 76

In case you forget (and why wouldn't you, writing off Fallout 76 at launch was probably the smart thing to do), Bethesda is bringing more actual Fallout elements into 76 as part of the Wastelanders update, and they've been slowly drip-feedi...
