Transformers: War for Cybertron has surprised a lot of people. Despite a healthy dose of cynicism surrounding the game’s chances of being good, the positive reviews and sheer volume of gamers impressed with the multiplayer has made it a real success. Obviously, evil publisher Activision has noticed, and is getting ready to make more.

According to WfC creative director Matt Tieger, Activision is currently courting Hasbro in order to make more titles. He couldn’t say anything other than that, but added that Hasbro is “considering” expanding the brand further into the realm of videogames.

After being addicted to War for Cybertron over the past two weeks, I’m really excited to see what else High Moon could do with the license. This has been my game of the summer, so if more titles want to come along later, that’d be perfectly fine by me.
