One thing is bothering me besides existence: You can't tell me Charlie Day wasn't born to play Toad.

People used to be really into Weezer. Oof.

So that was amusing, going out for a drive to keep the rust bucket functional and coming back to find out I'm no longer going to be employed. It's not even losing the job, it's the lack of an alternative, knowing there is no escape. The time is well pa

My mom mentioned possibly getting me something nice for Xmas (ie Switch or PS4) and I have to stop and think what. Too disconnected to pick which handful of experiences, if I'll put sufficient time and energy into it... expecting nothing is easier.

Yo thanks to the N64 for freezing, which means, thanks to MM's save system, means getting reset to the first day to redo things I did months ago. Typical Sunday - if I could just go back to sleep and, you know, not have to greet another week?

Decided to build a PC, got the parts, and it didn't work. The worst part is not even being surprised. I'm tired of being such a stupid idiot. I actually tried to do something to keep playing games, haha...

On replaying Mario 64 - it's remarkable how fluid the controls are after all these years. Really fun to be able to pull off Mario's crazy flips and jumps.

Didn't realize how many people considered Spirit Tracks to be one of the best DS or even Zelda games. It's a game I never finished after putting it down in frustration... still haven't worked up the motivation years later. Motivation is hard.

TFW you go into a store to buy junk you don't need but also come out with a game you wanted because it was magically laying there all innocent like. Then the guilt of spending kicks in. It is the worst.

That Harry Potter leak looks dope, but I don't want to get my hopes up about Harry Potter. What is Rocksteady working on?

The evil robot greedlord Strauss Zelnick would be reason enough not to glance at Red Dead 2.

The Bomberman 64 camera is a real pain in the ass!

I am having a hard time reconciling things I want, why I want them, money, and filling space with more stuff I don't really need.

They say you should find new games to play, but that doesn't really happen when you don't have the hardware and never even found the motivation to finish the last new games you bought.

A loss of gaming seems like a loss of identity. Couple that with a loss of the other arbitrary distractions, and everything else seems like even more of an arbitrary and unfulfilling endurance test with no good ending.

Playing Ocarina Of Time on the N64... maybe I should be sad that no game will ever recapture the feeling this game gave me.

I keep checking and you're still dead, celebrity.

Assassin's Creed is like the old boxer who gets pounded in the ring but won't quit.

Summoning bae Lyn on the first day was enough to sell me on Fire Emblem Heroes for a while.

Fuck Konami? Why not Fuck Nintendo?

Buying Nintendo figures at a closing Kmart because I'm a huge nerd.

Gaming is like people, only leads to disappointment until you come to hate it.

Conan plays a Nintendo game, but it's a game that existed at the start of a dead console. Good timing, very apropos.

Nothing like beating up on your new amiibo to make yourself feel not so crap at a game you haven't played since character DLC came out. EdgyFrieza will be the child who comes back to beat his father someday.
