About Monkey830one of us since 4:57 PM on 04.02.2018

I'll just skip the part about how I'm an avid gamer... that pretty much goes without saying in this space. It's been in my blood since I was a wee lad. I'm mostly dedicated to PlayStation and Nintendo but have dabbled and continue to dabble on other consoles, handhelds, PC, etc.

Writing about games, film, or pop culture in general is rapidly becoming a dream of mine. It's something I'm passionate about and am actively pursuing. The hell that is corporate America can't keep me down! Okay, well maybe it can from 9 to 5 every day, but after that, all bets are off.

Being a family man with two young kids makes this all the more interesting. I get to see my young son start to discover gaming and enjoy that progression all over again with his childhood! Let's say that he already discovered gaming at the ripe age of 3, and now it's all he wants to do. Let me tell ya, being a responsible parent and limiting screen time for your gaming padawans is extremely difficult when you're a gamer yourself. But thankfully we have the awesome mother who can keep us all in check and help manage that. She already says I'm like having an extra child instead of a husband, so it works.

If you're a PlayStation or Nintendo fanboy, feel free to follow my page, as much of what I post about will follow those two arenas.
