Spoilers: Superman may die in this Death of Superman trailer!

Arguably one of the biggest events in comics was when Superman died in the '90s. I know that a lot of people tend to just shrug their shoulders at death in comic books, but Superman was one of the few characters that just didn't die. How c...

The perfection of Hannibal Part 1: Kaiseki

Kaiseki: A type of art form that balances the taste, texture, appearance, and colors of food. Finished dishes are carefully presented on plates that are chosen to enhance both the appearance and the seasonal theme of the...

Review: Batman Ninja

While the MCU has dominated theatres for the past decade, DC has been putting out a constant stream of animated movies. Most of their animated movies are adaptations of classic DC stories and if I'm being perfectly honest here, most of them...

Welcome to the horror Renaissance!

When it comes to horror movies, it's very hard to impress me. I'm not saying that I'm a horror movie snob, but at a certain point, horror just wasn't scary anymore. I wasn't being unsettled by a gruesome monster, or unnerved at a creepy hal...

I don't know how to feel about Infinity War

Marvel seems to be on a roll with its cinematic universe. Oh sure, it was always a massively popular franchise that raked in billions, but 2018 is a special year for Marvel. Not only did they have the release of Black Panther, which ha...

Review: God's Not Dead: A Light in Darkness

Reviewing faith-based movies can be tricky to say the least. I don't think I'm going to shock anyone by saying that faith-based movies can be very, very, very difficult to pull off correctly. Usually faith-based movies e...

Ricky and Morty season 4 hasn't even been ordered yet

I'm pretty sure I'm not alone when I say that Rick and Morty is one of the best shows that is currently airing on Adult Swim. Between its pitch black sense of humor and its wild adventures, the show hit a sweet spot for ...

Review: Jessica Jones (Season 2)

Fun fact: I watched all of the first season of Jessica Jones in a day. At the time, I was living in England and was so incredibly bored that I order some British pizza (it's just as disappointing as it sounds), camped out on a cou...

Review: A Wrinkle In Time

I do not envy anyone that wants to make a high concept sci-fi epic. There are so many different pieces that need to fall into place in order to make something that's truly special and engaging. Most of the time, when you see a massive sci-f...

Five times the Razzies were WRONG

There was a time in my life where I swore by the Razzies and Razzie nominations. While the Oscars promote some of the best movies of the year, the Razzies are the polar opposite. They talk about the worst movies of a previous year and revel...

What's the point of pop culture references?

Like a huge percentage of people, I went to go see Black Panther last weekend. It's a pretty damn good movie and I had a ton of fun watching it. It's probably up there in my Top 5 favorite Marvel movies if only because it had...

Sonic boosts into theaters 2019

Ladies and gentlemen, we now know when the end times will be. Oh sure, it was rumored that there was going to be a Sonic the Hedgehog movie for years, but I never actually believed it. Hell, I still don't really believe it, and I'...

50 Shades: Porn afraid to be porn

I don't think I'm really offending anyone when I say that the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy is one of the worst trilogies to ever happen to cinemas. It's rare to see a story told where every installment is awful from beginning to end,...

Can Star Wars just... stop? For a little bit?

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away, Star Wars was an event. Star Wars was a property that always seemed to be much bigger than it actually was. Up until 1999 we only had three Star Wars movies to contend wit...

About Jesse Labone of us since 10:03 PM on 11.13.2012

Is he sane? Is he even human? Does he have good taste? Who knows! He certainly doesn't...

He's a man of few words, but most of them are pretty introspective and attempt to look at either big issues going on in the world or why Spring Breakers is actually one of the best movies ever made.

He's invented over 330 rules that you must follow whenever you step into his house.

He has backed a few games on Kickstarter, but really only just Shantae: Half Genie Hero and Yooka Laylee (both were pretty good all thing's considered). Plus he's also an avid reader of Nintendo Force.

You'll never guess his favorite movie and if you do he'll buy you a Coke. But not a pop. He'll never buy you a pop.

Oh yeah, and he's also a Features Writer over on Flixist. That's... something he supposes.

He also prefers to speak in 3rd person narration on profiles because that's just the way he rolls. He's kind of an odd fellow like that.
