Moments like these mean everything: finally got around writing another blog. This one is my review on Salt and Sanctuary. It's kind of short but in the position I'm in, it feels great.

Review: Salt and Sanctuary

One of the things I like to do in my free time is to watch lists on the Internet about video games. Salt and Sanctuary came into my life last year in one of those without me paying attention to it much other that its title. However, t...

Current Status:

Day 6 of yet another lockdown: my sanity levels are in danger. Sure I have all the free time in the world but being stuck at home doesn't help oneself not to feel stuck in life. Sorry, had to let this out.

Happy father's day to all the father figures here. The closest I have felt to this feeling has been as a teacher and it feels great.

Well, kidney stones attack again plus a cold which needs to be taken care off right away. The doctor said 15 days off so I guess I'll be using this time to catch on games, movies and TV shows.

Sure some of us might have reacted not precisely good to how E3 played out for some of its conferences but as my first E3 experience over here, I am pleased. Those memes were good and those positive reactions were gold. So, thanks for the content guys.

Me: Mom, I'll be having lunch with you guys after Nintendo's E3. Mom: Better be good. It was, it fucking was.

Rushing over from work to catch up on Capcom's showcase at E3 to witness this? What, four games? I wasn't expecting anything at all but holy, some trailers would have sufficed. Let's see how Nintendo fares tomorrow.

I got to beat No More Heroes three days ago. Possibly one of the most unique and funniest games I have played aside from Earthworm Jim. The boss battles and those cutscenes overshadow some of its flaws. Also that 'real ending' was totally worth it.

It's decided. First thing in the morning I'm going to use a clip from a video game as an activity. The selected one is Mary's letter from Silent Hill 2. Purpose: to improve pronunciation, past tense and guess the context. BUMP: it was a success.

22 years already? Wow. I still remember watching this music video on TV with my brothers trying to figure out which console this was being played. We were such kids. Oh, the memories.

I'm like 9 years late to the party but I just found out the Vita could connect to bluetooth speakers. Now I know how I'll play through Persona 4's ending and a bunch of other PS2 titles on the system. I made a right choice buying this handled, all right.

Health update: it turns out I didn't have Covid to begin with, it was all on my mind. As vaccines are not happening where I live anytime soon, it's up to me to double the protection methods. I feel relieved now.

2021's First Half Retro GOTY Nominees. Second half coming in November. Disclaimer: I know Salt and Sanctuary and STAY aren't retro but the rest of the games I have played this year certainly are. Hence, these awards of mine keep such name.

Playing Persona 4 (for the 4th time) during pride month may have been destined. Such an open minded game with lots of diversity. Remember it was first released in 2008 so, that's something. This game was the spark to help me identify myself. My favorite.

So it goes without saying: I am afraid. These changes were made to the previous sites I used to blog at and well, I made it all the way here. However, I trust in the staff and their love for this community. You can do it.

Just beat this game as the first one from my recommended series. My first visual novel, that's something new. New genres and more coming up.

Friends The Reunion is this documentary/special that sparks emotions in me just like when the actual shows was airing. A celebration of its influence but also, a reminder of how good is to remember things while still being able to move on. Emotional watch

The Dragon's Crown has been retrieved and so the game has finished. For a beat em up, this game is well done but for a Vanillaware one, it had a lot more potential. Still, had a blast with it and every victory was meaningful, indeed. Will miss u, narrator

Been kinda worried. A close friend who came to my birthday suddenly found out he has Covid19. He is under treatment as of now but thing is, I haven't felt any symptoms. The thought of it is making me feel bad. Going to do the test. Will let you guys know.

Retro Review: Pandora's Tower

Following Operation Rainfall success to bring three Wii japan exclusive games overseas, Pandora's Tower came out as the most rare of them all, which led it to be overshadowed by its older brothers as in some places this came out in 20...

First time I believe, that I post a pic over here. So yeah, this is me.

Replaying Vagrant Story. It was great on the PlayStation, it is great on the PSP. And that sound design, marvelous.

About Exberone of us since 7:47 PM on 04.07.2020

I guess these would be considered as my stats, so here I go:

I'm Exber, not related to my name by any means. I'm from Venezuela and I'm an English Teacher.

Favorite color: green.

Favorite number: 4.

Favorite video game genre: Survival Horror. RPGs come second.

Favorite movie: 13 going on 30.

And, that's about it for now.
