What is it with fictional Nazis and blimps? I swear, whenever fictional Nazis show up, they just have to have at least 1 blimp, whether it's a video game, anime, or live-action show.

Not prosecuting these violent vigilantes, letting their sacred cows spend their lives in such misery, and spewing nationalist bullshit. What the hell, government of India?

The controversial film The Da Vince Code will be expiring from Netflix soon. It even managed to offend me, what with all the buildup to the secret, only for said secret to be so lame (and a spoiler, of course).

Lately, I haven't been able to ignore games on my Steam Discovery queue. I think this started happening since Steam Labs was implemented. Looks like a lot of people have this problem. Valve needs to fix this, and soon.

Seriously, Rachel Maddow? Even you are pulling this shit? That was a long and stressful hearing by any metric. The ratings for the hearing don't fucking matter. What was said during the hearing is what's relevant.

Save Schnapps/gems/other consumables is and always has been a really stupid idea. Players should be able to save whenever they need to, especially before long cutscenes or difficult fights. Also, unwanted crap like power outages can happen at any time.

Doom classic complete is 5 bucks on Steam right now. No Bethesda account required, and Steam doesn't even need to be on for it to play. I do recommend grabbing a good source port to run it though, such as ZDoom, GZDoom, Zandronum, and/or Chocolate Doom.

Astra Lost in Space is like Star Trek Voyager: the anime. Even the episodes are a similar length.

This carrier is a massive waste of money. We don't need more war machines. We need our highways, tunnels, bridges and other infrastructure reconstructed and we need a fiber optic cable Internet connection to all USA homes and businesses.

The people distributing the sauce for KFC's Cheeto sandwich underestimated demand, so the local store doesn't have any of that sauce right now. Also, Walmart's in store banner ad for Bloodstained has the text "A game by Koji Igarashi".

The top Steam releases of June are actually pretty decent for change. Bloodstained and other great indie games appeared there.

I really hope Area 51-chan doesn't become the next Internet waifu.

So, the Steam release date is August 13, 2020? Got it. Starpoint Gemini 3 will probably release before then.

A succubus calling other characters perverts. Pot, meet kettle. Oh, I love isekai manga sometimes. XD

I finally got I-25 in Azur Lane, which means I now have all of the play characters from the current build event. Yay!

I have now viewed 3 isekai manga/anime series where the protagonist brings creates a version of their more advanced tech in the less technologically advanced world they appear in.

The image below might be NSFW, so I'm putting it in the comments.

For once, I agree with many of the Youtuber commenters. That blank spot could easily be filled with a "P" or a "C".

So far, I got every player character of Azur Lane's current event build other than I-25. I even got a super rare duplicate. I wish this event build also had a story map to go along with it.

Apparently, the local KFC was out of the sauce used to make the KFC Cheetos Sandwich. I'm guessing a lot of people were curious about that sandwich. Even the ads for it show the sauce just dripping out.

They're steadily building a new Meijer store in the same town as the local Walmart. While I do like the increased competition, my County is just too small to provide enough business to 2 big stores long term.

Even dishwasher (one of the most prominent RWBY fan artists) has made art about the really stupid storm Area 51 meme. Also, for profit companies are using the meme to advertise their stuff. Because of course the corporations would do that.

Hey Dtoiders, what are your thoughts on buying damaged goods (such as food) provided the seller is upfront and honest about the damage, and puts a discount on said goods?

So then, there's no way of knowing which gators are normal, and which ones are on meth? Also, what the hell, KFC? Putting Cheetos in your chicken sandwiches is about as bad an idea as Subway putting Fritos in their subs.

About Electric Reaperone of us since 10:55 AM on 08.12.2013

I am a gamer who prefers games that are more about action than story; especially shooters, action RPG's and hack-and-slashers. I often don't care that much about a video game's story, and instead focus on the weapons instead: how they sound, how they fire/attack, how they look, how they function, and how the more unusual weapons may work. Sometimes a game may be great in just about every category, but I might just ignore it for using boring conventional guns that I've shot a million times.

I am into sci-fi, supernatural, and mecha anime/TV shows/movies/games. I don't care that much about photorealism, unless it drags the gameplay down.

Over the years, I have seen a lot of stupid/unwanted things in the video game industry. Online passes for multiplayer, on-disc downloadable content, day one DLC in Mass Effect 3, pre-order bonuses for Brink, multiple versions of Evolve, collector's edition for the first Watch Dogs game, microtransactions in Dead Space 3, and more. I have also seen things that get in the way of the customer accessing the game they legally bought. SecuROM in Crysis, Games For Windows Live in Red Faction Guerilla (removed over a year ago) SecuROM AND GFWL in Bioshock 2 (both removed years ago), always online DRM in Dead Space 2, Origin in Mass Effect 3, and Denuvo anti-tamper in Doom 4 (it might not get in the way of playing the game but I still have a deep-seated hatred for it). Why does the game industry keep doing this crap? Is ticking off your customers with these draconian measures really worth a week or a few months of zero piracy?
