Today after waking up, I noticed I was sore in both arms and I have the chills. These are the side effects I have noticed so far from the J&J COVID-19 vaccine. The side effects are definitely stronger than from other vaccines I've gotten.

Got my COVID-19 vaccine today. It was the Johnson & Johnson shot. The local health department converted an old retail store into a clinic. Got the shot pretty quickly and then had to wait to see if any side effects developed.

My fluffy cat Scully has started shedding her winter coat. I guess spring is here. There goes the extra softness her winter coat provided. Oh well.

There are GOG discount codes for A Plague Tale: Innocence being sent out to people. The discount is apparently 75% and you can find a bunch of the codes on r/GOG subreddit.

Lumi has some seriously fluffy twintails now. Soji Mitsuka approves.

This month's Humble Choice is very disappointing. The games it has I either have no interest in or I've never even heard of. The quality of these game bundles is always all over the place.

Hell yeah, more flying mech combat. I hope the campaign will be longer this time.

At the local Meijer, there were about 3 flavors of Home Run Inn pizza stocked. I'm guessing it's not very popular here, since Meijer's frozen pizza section is pretty big and arguably better than Walmart's.

I got a block of Cabot Extra Sharp cheese. The flavor was a bit strong, as expected. The cheese being white rather than orange is kinda weird, and the cheese does seem to melt well. Kinda disappointed that Cabot doesn't have that many flavors of cheese.

A few of the webcomics I've been reading lately have gone closer to the serious side rather than focusing on comedy. *sigh* Also, the AI in Ashes of the Singularity Escalation seems to just get very lazy after 20-30 minutes.

Here's a GOG discount code for We. The Revolution and Help Will Come Tomorrow: FS7J4D4CD135A46EFE I don't know the percentage of the discount.

Needing to do grenade jumps to get certain collectibles in Halo is bullshit. So much of Halo's gameplay mechanics are either obsolete or pointlessly annoying compared to modern games.

That's all of Magical Girl Raising Project. It was pretty good and rather dark. Seeing the villains face justice for their crimes was quite satisfying. I hate Swim Swim and Fav even more than Cinder Fall of RWBY. Blue Gender is next.

If American cheese has to go in a sandwich, it should be melted American cheese. One of its best points is how melty it is and leaving it cold makes it worse.

Meijer brand chicken bacon ranch pizza is pretty decent, though their Hawaiian style pizza is kinda eh. That said, pineapple really doesn't belong on a pizza. Outsiders pulled pork bacon and BBQ sauce Detroit style pizza was really good.

Well, Magical Girl Raising Project is arguably even darker than Puella Magi Madoka Magica, perhaps going into grimderp territory. Technically speaking, it's just a lot of teamkilling. What in the hell, Swim Swim?

Of course the USA has yet to implement a useful law that several other nation-states did. Fucking corporate lobbyists. Also, it's pretty disturbing how much plastic waste there is ALREADY in the environment.

Well, the Magical Girl Raising Project anime sure doesn't waste ANY time getting into the dark and gory stuff. Holy shit. O%20 Also, Armed Girl's Machiavellism is a pretty good action comedy that can get rather crazy at times.

Watched all of the anime Chivalry of a Failed Knight. It was a pretty good fanservice comedy with rather decent fight scenes. Shizuku and Stella got into an even MORE heated argument about breasts than Blanc and Vert of the Neptunia series ever did.

Which sci-fi series has your favorite design(s) for starships used by humans?

Hellsing Ultimate Abridged > Hellsing Ultimate > Hellsing classic

This looks like a fun fantasy twin stick shooter. The devs are aiming to release it in April.

About Electric Reaperone of us since 10:55 AM on 08.12.2013

I am a gamer who prefers games that are more about action than story; especially shooters, action RPG's and hack-and-slashers. I often don't care that much about a video game's story, and instead focus on the weapons instead: how they sound, how they fire/attack, how they look, how they function, and how the more unusual weapons may work. Sometimes a game may be great in just about every category, but I might just ignore it for using boring conventional guns that I've shot a million times.

I am into sci-fi, supernatural, and mecha anime/TV shows/movies/games. I don't care that much about photorealism, unless it drags the gameplay down.

Over the years, I have seen a lot of stupid/unwanted things in the video game industry. Online passes for multiplayer, on-disc downloadable content, day one DLC in Mass Effect 3, pre-order bonuses for Brink, multiple versions of Evolve, collector's edition for the first Watch Dogs game, microtransactions in Dead Space 3, and more. I have also seen things that get in the way of the customer accessing the game they legally bought. SecuROM in Crysis, Games For Windows Live in Red Faction Guerilla (removed over a year ago) SecuROM AND GFWL in Bioshock 2 (both removed years ago), always online DRM in Dead Space 2, Origin in Mass Effect 3, and Denuvo anti-tamper in Doom 4 (it might not get in the way of playing the game but I still have a deep-seated hatred for it). Why does the game industry keep doing this crap? Is ticking off your customers with these draconian measures really worth a week or a few months of zero piracy?
