The deep sea contains some of the weirdest and most interesting lifeforms on Earth.

What does someone do when arguably the most politically progressive city in their County is also the Florida (the place where the weird shit happens) of their County?

I played through the Steam demo for Blast-Axis, and it was pretty good! It's a 6DOF shooter in the vein of Descent, and several weapons have multiple ammo types. Also, that chainsaw on the drone does work.

Sweet, another new mech game for PC. This game looks closer to Armored Core than War Tech Fighters. It also has a Steam demo.

While that would be a rather unnerving sight, having that many spiders gathered in 1 area would cause a drastic decrease of insect pests.

I hope Doom Eternal has some similar to the Armored Offensive & Rich Get Richer combination from Doom 4. Running around through earlier levels with endgame weapons with infinite ammo was great.

35 perks in one level of Tesla vs Lovecraft in the Eldritch Plane. Sweet, sweet chaos. There's even 2 epic (very powerful gamechanger) perks in there.

Seeing Gandalf the White knock out a powerful idiot for saying something really stupid was funny, though it can't really compare with Legolas' shield-surfing. Context: Watching Lord of the Rings.

I got some of these Envy apples from Walmart, and I'm never getting them again. They are rather large, fairly sweet, but they are denser and harder than a pineapple core. These apples could possibly survive getting shot out of a cannon.

Looks like Borderlands 3 is having a rough launch on PC. Since Epic can't be bothered to have proper forums, users are taking their bug reports to Steam's BL2 forums and Reddit. This is one of the reasons why I rarely get games at launch.

Anyone ever just stare at the biggest windows in their house at night to see what moths and other nightly insects appear?

Tesla vs Lovecraft is pretty good, though the RNG the game uses can be very annoying. The game is more structured than Crimsonland, while being more chaotic than Jydge, 2 of 10tons' other shooters. The Fire Vampires suck, though.

One more controversy for the road! Seriously though, this is just really dumb. Not giving out proper review/retail copies of the games to reviewers is stupid, because they won't get the version of the game customers will.

One of the manga that I follow which has a significant theme of "getting crap past the radar" and pushing the limits has featured the ghost pepper in an eating contest. And I thought the magical stuff happening was crazy enough.

The 2018 film Overlord was pretty good. Though it certainly took its sweet time to get moving. The first time a Nazi even gets injured, let alone killed, took way too long. Maybe I was being too harsh on Inglorious Bastards.

Seeing voting manipulation in a cute comedy manga. Why???? T%20 Why would they corrupt such an innocent series???

For anyone that likes giantesses and other rather tall women, you might want to have a look at the manga Oversized Sextet.

While driving back home today, I noticed that some people had Trump flags. UGH. Drumpf has been shitting in the Oval Office for 2 years now, he's clearly corrupt, borderline treasonous, likely insane, etc. Yet some people still want him re-elected.

CNN hosted an impressive 7 hour town hall on climate change where the Democratic Presidential candidates each got 40 minutes to talk. It was a very good showing, though some people are making a meme about Joe Biden's eye.

Cool, more news on Prodeus. It would have been nice to see more gameplay footage, though.

Every first person shooter and third person shooter should have missile artillery/missile tanks. Filling the skies with missiles as a flying mech is fun, so why not do that with a ground vehicle?

I am a gamer who prefers games that are more about action than story; especially shooters, action RPG's and hack-and-slashers. I often don't care that much about a video game's story, and instead focus on the weapons instead: how they sound, how they fire/attack, how they look, how they function, and how the more unusual weapons may work. Sometimes a game may be great in just about every category, but I might just ignore it for using boring conventional guns that I've shot a million times.

I am into sci-fi, supernatural, and mecha anime/TV shows/movies/games. I don't care that much about photorealism, unless it drags the gameplay down.

Over the years, I have seen a lot of stupid/unwanted things in the video game industry. Online passes for multiplayer, on-disc downloadable content, day one DLC in Mass Effect 3, pre-order bonuses for Brink, multiple versions of Evolve, collector's edition for the first Watch Dogs game, microtransactions in Dead Space 3, and more. I have also seen things that get in the way of the customer accessing the game they legally bought. SecuROM in Crysis, Games For Windows Live in Red Faction Guerilla (removed over a year ago) SecuROM AND GFWL in Bioshock 2 (both removed years ago), always online DRM in Dead Space 2, Origin in Mass Effect 3, and Denuvo anti-tamper in Doom 4 (it might not get in the way of playing the game but I still have a deep-seated hatred for it). Why does the game industry keep doing this crap? Is ticking off your customers with these draconian measures really worth a week or a few months of zero piracy?
