Review: Kingdom Come: Deliverance

I've played a great deal of role-playing games in my time, whether they be Japanese or Western, from your various Final Fantasy titles to the vast and open world Elder Scrolls games, and all things in-between. As great as these games are, w...

Review in Progress: Kingdom Come: Deliverance

When Kingdom Come: Deliverance is at its best, I'm lost in the most detailed forest I've ever seen in a video game, low on food, drinking alcohol for nourishment, all so I can reach the next town to sell my wares...because the last town hat...

Review: Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory

A little over twenty years ago now, Digimon would hit the scene in the form of a spinoff series of Tamagotchi toys. Following their popularity would come an animated series, the combined success of which sent these digital monsters to new f...

50 Cent is interested in making another game

50 Cent: Blood on the Sand is possibly the greatest video game to ever tell the hardships of a man trying to retrieve his stolen property. But, it seems Fiddy himself has some new ideas for a third game -- just as long as the game is &ldquo...

Review: Mom Hid My Game!

She hides the game because she loves you. She wants you to grow up to become a lawyer or doctor, certainly not someone who plays video games. Mom Hid My Game! isn't simply a game, it's a life lesson we should all take into consideration whi...

Review: Okami HD

Hideki Kamiya is a strange and interesting man. When he's not busy being the vice president of Platinum Games or randomly blocking people on Twitter, he's at the helm of some of the best action-adventure games in the industry. Prior to his ...

A new Digimon Story game has begun development

Review in Progress: Okami HD

Truth be told, I've never beaten Okami. I've played it twice over in the past, first on the Nintendo Wii and got about halfway through the game, around that same time though, I got a PlayStation 3 and simply never found myself returning to ...

About Dan Roemerone of us since 4:38 PM on 08.30.2014

I unironically like pop-punk, collect old gaming magazines, and worse yet -- I'm somehow allowed to do stuff around here.

I've been enjoying and dabbling in Destructoid content since 2014. My goals are pretty simple as of late: Have a complete Offspring vinyl and CD collection, film a documentary, work in games journalism as a full time career, and live in SF eventually. (Okay, maybe not that simple).

I also make video reviews and other videos in general with friends as a side hobby, check out the Infinite Backlog YouTube channel for those said things:

Disclosure: I support NoClip, Mega64, and Alanah Pearce on Patreon. I've also backed Shenmue 3 on Kickstarter.
