Damn it feels good to have new XIV content.

It's been a while since my mobile app made me @ someone inadvertently. I'm glad it was all of you.
I know we sometimes disagree on things, but know I appreciate there are things we can all come together on.
Took a quick break from Control to power through Tales From the Borderlands finally. It wasn't as long a game as I was expecting but I found it very entertaining. Pity that this format of game oversaturated itself in the market, I'd have played a sequel.
Started Control last week, I've really been enjoying it. Of course in full disclosure, I'm essentially playing it in Story mode difficulty. The combat just isn't really all that compelling to me, and having to re-clear areas is, frankly, annoying.
Finally watched Monster Hunter. It was very not great. A good portion of it was also not even that fun, which is my baseline for Paul WS Anderson movies.
I've finally done it...I've done all the available Main Story Quests in FFXIV.
Now to level alternate jobs to 80, starting with tanks.
Helped the girlfriend buy a new winter jacket today, her first comment putting it on: "Wow. It has so many pockets." Then the final fantasy victory fanfare started playing in my head. I've done well.
Since @TheBlondeBass asked, here's my first take on a sketchy concept for a talking signpost in my game. I decided to work from the basis of a Herm. I'm hoping to get decent enough to pixellate the final portraits. Today I work on a dialogue system!
Ah, a new year, and a new Self-Evaluation for my job. The fun part of it is spending 2 hours browsing the company profits so I can accurately portray my most significant contributions.
Getting close to the end of FFXIV Shadowbringers MSQ (Not the bridge content). Kind of sad, but also kind of pissed I am still doing fucking chores for people.
So I just realized that The Expanse and The Orville are two completely different shows and now I apparently have to watch The Expanse.
Started watching Cougartown. Not sure why I never tried it before, it's apparently by the same creator as Scrubs, which I adore. It's much better than I expected, I definitely plan to finish it.
In other news, the Certification completed early this morning.
Also, Lara looks really weird in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Scotch is definitely hitting the spot tonight
