I feel kinda bad about it but I am really salty that Sony took off the web version of the PSN storefront where you could still buy PS1/PS2/PSP/Vita games. Like, why? If you're shutting down storefronts wouldn't you want to make them more accessible?

More Fantasian - highly recommend giving this a listen!

Mistwalker just posted some videos with behind-the-scenes for its music with Nobuo Uematsu! I'm really excited for this game, ngl. Really, really hope it gets ported to other platforms outside of Apple.

One week before the 20th anniversary of FFIX's NA release. I'm really hoping to do a blog a day to celebrate. Hopefully, they're interesting!

Magic Moments: The Opening of Final Fantasy IX

[The 20th anniversary of the North American release of Final Fantasy IX is on November 13, 2020 - a week from now. In the next couple of days leading up to that, I'm hoping to write a series of blogs to celebrate this wonderful game. ...

6 Months Later: The Sonic the Hedgehog Movie

AKA A Sonic the Hedgehog movie review, Being a Sonic Fan, and the Sonic Cycle December 10th, 2018 - we’re given our first official look at the Sonic the Hedgehog movie with a teaser poster showing Sonic’s silhouette. It lo...

Random question after yesterday's show - do you get excited by cinematic trailers? If not, why? If so, what about it interests you? Would you prefer seeing gameplay footage over the cinematic or do is it a good idea that studios use them for shows?

Serious question, is there a point in getting an Xbox Series X if all the games are also available on PC? Why would I want to pay for Xbox Live Gold if I can just play the game online without a subscription fee on PC?

Is it bad to just want gameplay showcases instead of cinematic trailers that don't really end up being representative of the actual game that will come out? Like, it looks cool, but what will it REALLY look like?

one month later - the last of us part ii

AKA The Last of Us, Revenge, and the Godfather [“___ months/years later” is a series of blogs I’m hoping to start writing - thoughts and feelings about games and reflecting on the reception since release in an annive...

Turning 24 is weird. I'm just gonna go play some games lol

Finished The Last of Us Part II after a lot of long nights after work. A lot of mixed feelings, but I thought it was a good ending. Would love to post a blog about it in the new couple of days if I can.

The PS5 presentation was...fine. I would have liked it more but felt like it was framed to show more details about the PS5 like pricing, BC, and other features, and we didn't get much about that. Liked the trailers but needed more gameplay.

I watched the Sonic movie! As a huge fan of the games, I gotta say, it was actually pretty decent. Not as good as Detective Pikachu, but I would still give it a solid 6 or 7. I'm the worst, so I'm set to watch this two more times before the week ends...

Finished Locke and Key, which turned out to be a pretty fun watch. The ending was alright, although it certainly stretched my suspension of disbelief more than it should have, I think.

Finally watched Frozen, and couldn't help from making constant Kingdom Hearts 3 references to my friends. "So this is the part where Hans turns into a werewolf so Sora can fight him, right?" It's a good movie, though a bit overhyped (not its fault tho).

I know Chris had a great guide to balancing life and games, but does anyone have additional tips? Would love to try to fit more gaming if possible.
