In the midst of all the BS at the Capitol, trump, covid, and the impeachment, at least joe the pigeon will not be euthanized

#Suncatoidday Me with my two homies, Valentine in the foreground, Peppercorn in my arms, sometime before xmas

Where are the weed video games? games about: smoking weed and earning money to smoke more weed, the head shop tycoon game, the weed empire games, the game where you get to be the annoying weed dealer that comes late all the time. Where can i find these?

good vibes and feels to everyone out there, all across the world. While bad shit is happening, don't forget the good stuff out there "The world is chaos, be kind"- Michelle McNamara

Dunno what's more funny. Pence telling trump no to reject the electoral votes or trump supporters/rioters calling the police "traitors" when pepper sprayed in the face by the police in the Capitol.

New year's gaming resolution: beat some of the new games I bought/received for free over the holidays. Full list in comments

How are y'all spending NYE? Mine might mostly be spent doing end of year inventory at work, hopefully I can be out before midnight. Then I'll spend it with da missus and maybe Sam Porter Bridges.

My wife, outside of the 2 zelda games i got here, also received ARMS and Super Mario 3D All-Stars. I did not get a game for xmas per se, got some cool swag like a dope High Sprits Shirts sweatshirt, a battletoads pin, and most awesomely, a Ukele Bass.

i started playing Blasphemous, early xmas present from my main gaming buddy. Weird, religous world:love it. it's a little too much like Dark Souls. Also, i gained a cheevo only 24% of the playerbase achieved in the 50+ mins i played? do yall not riposte

Don't tell my wife, but she's getting a very Zelda Xmas. Age of Calamity and Cadence of Hyrule!

My Game of the Year has been World of Horror. It's everything i love in a game: Replay value, interesting story, challenging game-play, turn based combat, stat and inventory management, and beautiful art. There are still many mysteries for me to solve.

Tyranny is pretty fun. I snagged it during the free drop at epic. It is not a perfect game, but I like the concept and conflict it provides. Basically boils down to ruling based on fear always divides, never unites

Anyone remember what they were doing 16 years ago today? I know I was shaking with anticipation over WoW getting released the next day. I know that game has gotten a lot of meh over the past decade, and Blizz became a shitty corp, but I did love that game

Wtf Blue Point. Why would you rename the awesome Red Hot Demon's Soul to "Searing Demon's Soul"?!? What an unnecessary change.

Ok so I'm enjoying No Man's Sky more than I thought I would. The language aspect is kinda fun. The first act eased me into the game, which I appreciated a lot; this game is quite daunting. I had a lot of fun naming my discoveries and uploading them.

I've become one of those people that own No Man's Sky today. Time to find goofy looking creatures and explore different but similar planets while surviving the harsh climes. I died like 15 minutes in.

I miss Blurst games. Especially OffRoad Safari Velociraptor and Time Donkey. I'd love for hd remakes of these two

For those of you who have a ps5 and ordered Demon's Souls, please enjoy it tomorrow :)

oh god i hope this old man contest (as quoted by john mulaney) doesn't last as long as the middle aged man contest in 2000

Hey mr sebben and sebben aka Mike Martin, I did not know it was your birthday, but have a happy one!

Having just started playing Bloodborne on PSNow, I am now finding rumor reports about Bloodborne being ported to PC, including reports about major play testing just this August...mmm, I want it. I would def buy it if I had access to it 24/7 and dlc

Man, feels good to finally, FINALLY pick up and play Bloodborne. Thanks PSNow

Got a new gpu for my new cpu and Mobo, finally. Nothing fancy, just a RX5500 XT. Haha fist thing I did was drop it on the floor after unboxing it. Luckily it landed on the mounting bracket which absorbed the shock by bending slightly, works fine so far!

About cockaroachone of us since 5:06 PM on 10.15.2009

My favorite games meld music, art, and gameplay to enhance one another, elevating the product to something beyond mere "consumption"; it's an experience. Not everyone will like them, but they do gain a passionate following. Sorry if anything I said sounded pretentious, I am trying to be sincere. I love music and art, I've dabble in both for over 20 years now, so I appreciate games that put love into their art assets, animations, character design, level design, music, sound design, storytelling, and voice acting, even if the gameplay is simplistic (as long as it's fun!). These games also tend to feel nice- the control has a certain snap to it, enhanced by the visual and audio cues. This list may be biased towards my adolescence and childhood favorites from the SNES and N64/PSX days, so bare with me: you will see a lot of retro favorites. If your favorite is not on the list, it's probably because i didn't play it as a child/adolescent, or as an adult, for that matter.

In a somewhat random order:
Chrono Trigger
Super Smash Bros Melee
World of Warcraft (Classic/Vanilla)
Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen
Dark Souls
Demon's Souls
Banjo Kazooie
Katamari Damacy
Shadows of the Colossus
Commander Keen: Goodbye Galaxy
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
Super Meat Boy
Donkey Kong Country
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Human Fall Flat
World of Horror
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2
Super Mario Odyssey
Metal Slug 3
Tokyo Jungle (an odd one, for sure, but i love it so)
